Worcestershire Supporters’ Association have topped the 600 mark in members participating in their 2018 Fifty-Fifty competition from which all profits will go to the Ground Improvement Fund.
They are on course to surpass last year’s figure of 660 members.
The four draws will take place this summer on Sunday June 24, Sunday July 29, Sunday August 26 and Sunday September 23.
Once again the prizes will range from £50 to £500 for each draw.
Association committee member Dave Kennedy will again be running the competition after taking over from late chairman Ken Mills MBE.
He said: “To have 600 members so soon after the start of the new season is very encouraging.
“We are optimistic of reaching and going past last summer’s figure.”
It costs £20 to enter – the same fee as in 2017 – and profits from this competition will, as always, go towards the Ground Improvement Fund.
Application forms can be obtained from the club shop on matchdays, or via Dave Kennedy c-o the County Ground, Blackfinch New Road, Worcester, WR2 4QQ or downloaded via the Worcestershire CCC website.
Anyone wanting to enter the competition should make cheques payable to the Worcestershire County Cricket Supporters’ Association (WCCSA).
The 2018 prize structure will be:
First prize – £500
Second prize – £250
Third prize – £200
Fourth-eighth prizes – £100
Ninth-12th prizes – £50
