Worcestershire Supporters' Association's ever popular Fifty-Fifty competition is on course for a record membership for the second year running.
Last season 813 supporters participated in the Fifty-Fifty from which all profits go to the Ground Improvement Fund.
And chairman Andrew Jenkins reports that already the 2017 competition has attracted 420 members with still six weeks to go before the new campaign gets underway.
The Fifty-Fifty consists of four draws during the season – on June 25, July 30, August 20 and September 17 – with a first prize each time of £500.
But there are 11 other prizes each time consisting of one £250, one £200, five £100s and four £50s making total prize money for each draw of £1,650.
Jenkins said: "Dave Kennedy has done a fantastic job in taking over the competition from Ken Mills and ensuring that it continues to run smoothly and efficiently.
"I am delighted to report we have 420 members already for 2017 and, as things stand, we are on course for another record year.
"Hopefully we will make as much out of this season's draw financially as last year for the Ground Improvement Fund."
It costs £20 per person to enter the Fifty-Fifty draw and entry forms are available from Dave Kennedy c-o the County Ground, New Road, Worcester, WR2 4QQ and, during the season, at the Supporters' Association shop situated at the back of the Basil D'Oliveira Stand.
