worcestershire supporters’ association’s fifty-fifty competition is already receiving tremendous support even though the first draw of 2019 is still four months away!
competition organiser dave kennedy reports that 338 members and supporters have already rejoined or are participating for the first time in this competition where all profits, as always, go towards the ground improvement fund.
this is already almost half of last summer’s fifty-fifty membership of 680.
dave kennedy will again be running the competition after taking over from the late ken mills mbe three years ago.
it costs £20 to enter – the same fee as in 2018 – and prizes will range from £50 to £500.
the date of the first draw of 2019 is june 17 – the opening day of the specsavers county championship match with sussex (other draw dates to be confirmed).
application forms can be obtained from dave kennedy c-o the county ground, New Road, worcester, wr2 4qq or downloaded via the worcestershire ccc website.
anyone wanting to enter the competition should make cheques payable to the worcestershire county cricket supporters’ association (wccsa).
the 2019 prize structure will be:
first prize – £500
second prize – £250
third prize – £200
fourth-eighth prizes – £100
ninth-12th prizes – £50
