Tom Fell says he feels ready form-wise and physically if he gets the call for a return to first team action.
The Worcestershire batsman has beeen playing second team and club cricket since being given the all clear in his battle against cancer in the lymph nodes last month.
He has scored two half centuries for the Seconds and a century for Wolverhampton.
Fell, who is playing for the Seconds in T20 matches today (Tuesday) against the Unicorns at Kidderminster, said: "How am I feeling? It has gone pretty well. I've felt in pretty good nick in the middle.
"I haven't had a big score yet. I've had a couple of fifties for the Seconds plus a hundred for Wolverhampton and I am feeling good.
"I've eased my way back into it really and now I'm back to 100 per cent and ready to get back into the first team which hopefully won't take too long.
"But obviously the guys in the first team are doing well.
"Am I ready physically and form-wise? Both physically and form wise really. I had a little bit of rustiness when I first came back but those cobwebs have gone now.
"I'm feeling back to 100 per cent with the bat and pretty much physically as I can be really. I feel good and ready to play again."
Fell has also been working with the County's strengthening and conditioning coach Ross Dewar to get back up to speed.
He said: "I've done some extra stuff although it is difficult to find time really with playing four or five days a week.
"But, where I can, I've put in extra sessions to lose a bit of weight and get my body in shape again."
