worcestershire rapids men’s and women’s teams will be in action at New Road on sunday as part of a family fun day being hosted by the county.
supporters can watch both games for just £20 in advance (£5 for juniors) as part of an action packed eight hours.
but in additions there will be a host of activities for families to enjoy as part of the matchday experience.
the worcestershire women’s rapids team will launch proceedings at 10.15am when they take on the notts women’s outlaws side in a t20 match.
the women’s rapids teams have been competing in division one of the ecb t20 championship this summer and are also in the play-offs in the 50 over competition.
the cricket double header will continue at New Road at 2.30pm on sunday when the worcestershire rapids continue their vitality blast campaign against lancashire lightning.
the rapids are challenging strongly for a place in the quarter-finals of the t20 competition and won their opening four north group games.
they have been playing an exciting brand of white ball cricket all summer – in the royal london one-day cup when reaching the semi-finals and now in the blast.
now they will be looking to complete a double over the lightning in the blast.
