Worcestershire will again be staging international cricket at New Road next summer with the England Women’s side in ODI action against New Zealand Women.
The second match of the three game ODI Series against the Kiwis will take place on Sunday, June 30 as part of the women’s and men’s home international schedule for next summer announced today.
New Road has regularly been the venue for international cricket for many years and on August 25 Worcestershire will do battle with New Zealand Men in a T20 match.
England Women have been regular visitors to New Road to stage either T20Is or ODIs.
In 2021 they took on India and New Zealand in 50 over games and last summer faced South Africa in a T20 clash.
England Women will play across 14 venues in total and ticket sales are set to commence from August 30 and supporters can ensure they are first to receive information about how to buy and gain priority access to tickets by signing up to We Are England Cricket Supporters at ecb.co.uk.
