Worcestershire pace bowler, Pat Brown, picked up two wickets for Stallions CC who launched their Atlanta T20 Open campaign with a high-scoring win over Florida Scorpions.
Brown dismissed Sussex’s Delray Rawlins by bowling him after he had made 27 and then had Ravinderpaul Singh caught for 35.
He was part of an attack which included Mohammad Irfan, Anwar Ali and Nottinghamshire’s Samit Patel, as the Scorpions were restricted to 217-7 and defeated by 23 runs.
Worcestershire batter, Kashif, Ali is part of the Scorpions squad but did not participate in this game.
Earlier, Stallions had amassed 240-4 in their 20 overs with Sharjeel Khan top-scoring with 91 and Saad Ali hitting 73.
The tournament comprises of 16 teams split into four groups of four who will play each other on a round robin basis with the top eight going through to the quarter-finals.
Brown and the Stallions will face Raiders Unlimited in their next game (Thursday) with Kashif and the Scorpions to take on SE Paramveer.
