Brett D'Oliveira top-scored for Worcestershire Seconds as they suffered an innings and 10 runs defeat against Yorkshire Seconds in a Second Eleven Championship clash at York CC.
D'Oliveira hit seven boundaries in his 37 off 53 balls and figured in the only substantial partnership on the final day of 38 for the sixth wicket with skipper Gareth Andrew after Worcestershire had resumed on 37-0.
The county were facing an uphill struggle to save the game after five wickets went down for 46 runs in 16 overs.
Five of the six dismissals before lunch fell to catches behind the wicket including three to keeper Andrew Hodd who replaced Dan Hodgson behind the stumps for the Worcestershire second innings.
D'Oliveira and Andrew looked to be building an innings during their partnership and brought up the 100 in the 23rd over of the morning.
But Andrew (17) was caught at mid-wicket shortly before the interval and the last four wickets went down for 14 runs in 7.4 overs of the afternoon session.
Matt Fisher did most of the damage with 5-31.
