Brett D’Oliveira is skippering Worcestershire in today’s 50 over encounter against Somerset in the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
The County all-rounder led the side on several occasions last summer in the absence of the injured Joe Leach.
It is the first of two matches in 24 hours with Worcestershire then scheduled to take on Essex tomorrow.
Alex Milton, Ben Twohig and Dillon Pennington, who all made a first team breakthrough last summer and played in at least half of the Specsavers County Championship matches, are named in today’s side.
A total of 18 players form the squad in the UAE.
Paceman George Scrimshaw was initially included but did not travel because of a sore back.
