Brett D’Oliveira steered Ombersley to a five wicket win over Shrewsbury in a Birmingham League Premier Division fixture.
The Worcestershire all-rounder hit 71 off 88 balls with one six and eight fours as Ombersley reached a 191 target with 5.3 overs to spare.
His County colleague Ben Cox, one of the heroes of the Royal London One-Day Cup win over Warwickshire, was dismissed for a first ball duck.
D’Oliveira had earlier sent down eight overs for 23 runs as Shrewsbury were bowled out for 190 in 51.4 overs.
Worcestershire CCC coach Andy Sutton turned in a fine performance when skippering Barnt Green to a 129 run success over Wolverhampton in another Premier Division fixture.
Sutton made 71 of Barnt Green’s 192 all out and returned figures of 9-3-18-3 as Wolverhampton were skittled for 63 in 22.2 overs.
One of Sutton’s victims was Tom Fell, trapped lbw for a single.
In Division One, George Rhodes shone with the ball for Barnards Green in a four wicket win over Bridgnorth.
Rhodes finished with 14.4-2-65-5 as Bridgnorth were dismissed for 188 in 51.4 overs.
He made 10 with the bat as Worcestershire Seconds triallist Ryan Tongue – brother of Josh – made 76 off 97 balls with three sixes and eight fours as victory was achieved in the 49th over.
Pat Brown picked up 3-7 from five overs as Kidderminster bowled out Leamington for 79 in 26.3 overs and romped to a 10 wicket win in only 13.4 overs.
Daryl Mitchell top-scored with 39 off 69 deliveries with five fours for Brockhampton, bowled out for 107 in 34.1 overs, against Oswestry in another Division One game.
His County colleague, Joe Clarke, made 37 (69 balls, five fours) as Oswestry achieved a six wicket triumph in 25.2 overs.
Ollie Westbury and Adam Finch made 14 and 25 respectively in Himley’s 202-8 but it was not enough to prevent Tamworth posting a four wicket win with eight balls to spare.
