Brett D'Oliveira and Tom Kohler-Cadmore shone with the bat for Worcestershire Seconds on another run-laced day against Gloucestershire Seconds at Cheltenham College.
The opening day had produced 459 runs with Worcestershire scoring 404-7 declared and Gloucestershire replying with 55-0.
And today's tally was even higher at 515 as Gloucestersire declared at 398-6 and Worcestershire then amassing 172-2 in their second innings – an overall lead of 178 heading into tomorrow's final day.
Gloucestershire opener Will Tavare (78) shared in stands of 95 with Miles Hammond and 71 with Jack Taylor who went onto to play the most explosive innings of the day.
His 146 came off just 89 balls and contained five sixes and 20 fours.
It was hard work for the bowlers with Josh Tongue, who shared the new ball with Ed Barnard, picking up two wickets for 75 in 16 overs.
D'Oliveira and Kohler-Cadmore also found conditions to their liking and shared in an opening stand of 167 in Worcestershire's second innings.
Kohler-Cadmore was dismissed just before the close for 72 off 134 balls with eight fours and then there was a rare failure in a productive season for George Rhodes who departed for a first ball duck.
But D'Oliveira finished the day unbeaten on 86 as he followed up his first innings 59 witha 143 ball knock containing 14 fours.
