DELL SET TO FACE STONEMAN AFTER PROMOTION TO SENIOR SIDE

josh dell has been promoted into the mosman cc senior side for the two-day new south wales premier cricket first grade match away to bankstown beginning tomorrow.

the worcestershire ccc batsman hit two half centuries in a grade two encounter versus uts sydney last weekend – his first action since the end of the season at New Road.

his efforts helped mosman to earn a losing draw after being forced to follow on.

included in the bankstown squad facing dell and his team-mates is surrey and england opener mark stoneman.

the match concludes the following weekend on saturday, november 9.

dell followed up his two fifties by helping mosman to a 30 run win over sutherland in the nsw kingsgrove sports twenty20 cup.

he went in first and struck a quickfire 28 off 20 deliveries with the aid of three boundaries.

dell was second out with the total on 56 and then lachlan hearne’s unbeaten 76 enabled mosman to reach 181-5.

sutherland were restricted to 151-6 in reply with dell taking one catch to dismiss keeper aiden bariol for 19.
