DELL LOOKING TO BUILD ON SOLID START DOWN UNDER

Josh Dell will be looking to build on his first spell at the wicket for Mosman CC when the New South Wales Premier Cricket second grade match with home side UTS North Sydney continues on Saturday.

The Worcestershire CCC batsman will resume on 20 not out when Mosman attempt to chase down a 294 target on the second day of the two-day fixture.

Dell opening the innings and has so far been at the crease for 16 overs with Mosman reaching 31-2 by the close last Saturday.

The 22-year-old, who made his senior breakthrough for Worcestershire this summer, flew out to Australia 12 days ago to start his second winter of grade cricket Down Under.

Two years ago he experienced a spell with Western Australia Cricket Association side Midland Guildford.

Dell scored 514 runs in 17 knocks at an average of 32.13 with a highest score of 157 against Gosnells.

UTS elected to bat after winning the toss and were dismissed for 293 in 78.4 overs.
