Worcestershire Cricket Society have finalised the price and details of their three-day trip to Sussex and Hampshire in early April.
Committee member Mike Hitchings has spent the winter planning the excursion – from April 2 to 4 – after also organising last year's two-day trip to Manchester.
The price of the trip is £200 and that includes a 53 seater executive coach, two nights at the Mercure Winchester Wessex Hotel with bed, breakfast and a three course evening included, plus tours of Hove and the Ageas Bowl – with tea and coffee included – plus trips to Brighton, Portsmouth and the New Forest.
The coach will leave New Road at approximately 9.15am on April 2 and return at approximately 7.30pm on April 4.
So far 47 people have confirmed their interest – with 41 paying the £25 deposit – and the final date for paying the complete £200 per person is March 1.
Please make cheques payable to the 'Worcestershire Cricket Society' and either bring them to the Society's January or February winter cricket evenings or send them to Mike Hitchings at 34 Derwent Drive, Mitton, Tewkesbury, Glos. GL20 8 BB.
There are six places remaining to fill the 53 seater coach and a reminder that any friends or family of Society members are more than welcome and do NOT have to be to Society member.
The plan is to travel to Portsmouth on day one(April 2) and spend the afternoon visiting the revamped dockland area before returning to the hotel in Winchester.
A tour of Sussex CCC's headquarters at Hove will take place on April 3 followed by a trip to Brighton before returning to Winchester.
On April 4, the Society will visit Hampshire CCC's Ageas Bowl and, after a meal at a venue Mike is still finalising, a visit the New Forest before returning to New Road.
