Ben Cox and Ben Twohig returned to action after the festive season and helped Southern Districts overpower West Torrens by eight wickets in the South Australia Cricket Association Premier Cricket T20 Cup.
Worcestershire spinner Twohig bowled four overs for just 15 runs as West Torrens were restricted to 92-9 in their 20 overs after choosing to bat.
County keeper batsman Cox picked up one catch and was also responsible for a run out.
He then hit an unbeaten 21 as Southern Districts triumphed with 6.5 overs to spare.
Twohig shared the new ball and also bowled the seventh, ninth and 17th overs, conceding seven, two, two and four runs respectively.
He only gave away one boundary as the Southern Districts attack kept a tight rein on their opponents.
Cox came in at number four at 66-2 and hurried his team to victory.
His 13 ball knock contained two sixes off Joshua Dascombe and Logan Pastyn respectively.
Cox and Twohig will be looking to complete a quickfire T20 tomorrow against Woodville.
