Worcestershire Under-19s gained an impressive 112 run victory over their Warwickshire counterparts in a three-day fixture at Walmley.
Worcestershire elected to bat and lost four wickets for 32 runs but then Josh Dell and wicket-keeper Ben Tegg featured in a stand of 162 in 31 overs.
Tegg made 79 from 101 balls with three sixes and 10 fours and Dell went onto to complete a century, eventually being dismissed for 103 from 120 deliveries with one six and 19 fours.
Ben Twohig (46) and Dan Lloyd (31 not out) then added 53 in 12 overs for the ninth wicket as Worcestershire reached 309 all out.
Warwickshire mounted a strong reply with Steven Sandhu (88) and Austen Crump (62) putting on 136 for the third wicket before the declaration at 280-4 -29 in arrears.
Worcestershire openers Jack Haynes (67) and Freddie Wynn (50) launched their side's second innings with a 123 run partnership and then useful knocks from Dell (33) and Josh Tongue (30 not out) helped set up the declaration at 250-7.
Warwickshire were left with a target of 280 but lost wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out for 167.
New ball bowler Tongue, who has just signed his first professional contract with Worcestershire, finished with four wickets and match figures of 6-92 from 23.2 overs.
