Worcestershire Under-17s will launch their 2018 programme on Sunday when they take on Warwickshire in a 50 over friendly at Bromsgrove School.
The County will use the game as part of their warm-up programme for the Royal London One-Day Cup campaign.
They narrowly missed out on qualifying for the quarter-finals in last summer’s competition.
Worcestershire will also be competing in the ECB County Championship and drew all four of their games in 2017.
There were some notable performances with the bat including a double hundred by Callum Lea against Hampshire at Basingstoke.
Mahaaz Ahmed also scored a century in the same game while Jujhar Johal made 159 against Devon at Stourport when Worcestershire fought back to share the spoils.
Worcestershire Academy Coach Elliot Wilson has named a 12 strong squad for Sunday’s fixture.
It includes Zain Ul Hassan, Riecko Parker-Cole, Matt Davis and Mitchell Stanley who are all part of the full Academy 2017-2018 intake.
