Worcestershire Under-17 will continue their pursuit of a 450 target on the final day of the ECB County Championship match with Gloucestershire Under-17s at Stourport.
They will resume on 99-2 after a second day in which there were FOUR innings and THREE declarations in a bid to set up a meaningful conclusion to the day.
A total of 483 runs were scored and 15 wickets fell during the day.
Gloucestershire resumed at 365-4 and scored 100 more runs for the loss of five wickets in 21 overs before declaring.
Zain Ul-Hassan added two more wickets to finish with the impressive figures of 4-61 from 25 overs while Aaron Tomson returned 3-75 from 16 overs.
Worcestershire then declared their first innings 315 runs in arrears at 150-4 from 46 overs with Charlie Clist continuing his good form by making an unbeaten 72 from 119 balls with one six and eight fours.
He shared in an opening stand of 85 with Callum Lea (44).
Gloucestershire then plundered 134-4 in 15 overs, thanks largely to 82 from Milo Ayres who was one of two victims of Dan Holland (2-13).
Worcestershire then launched their attempt to reach their sizeable target and lost Callum Lea for a first ball duck.
Clist and Holland added 76 before the former, having made 49 off 40 balls with one six and nine fours, was dismissed.
Holland, a century-maker in the previous Championship match against Somerset, ended the day unbeaten on 31.
