Worcestershire Under-17s will be back in Specsavers County Championship action tomorrow (Monday) when they take on their Hampshire counterparts at Totton and Eling CC.
The Under-17s will be looking to bounce back from the defeat against Devon at Stourbridge when they paid the price for a last day batting collapse after dominating the opening two days.
Worcestershire had previously defeated Gloucestershire in their opening fixture in the competition at Bishopston CC.
They still head the table with 31 points from two games but Hampshire have a powerful squad and collected a maximum 24 points from their only fixture to date.
Academy Coach Elliot Wilson has announced a 12 strong squad with Peter Clark captaining the side and Joe Cullen keeping wicket.
It is a busy week for the County’s crop of youngsters.
The Development Squad will do battle with Warwickshire Under-17 Development X1 at Portland Road, Edgbaston in a two-day game starting on Wednesday.
