Worcestershire have finalised the itinerary for their second pre-season tour of Abu Dhabi in early March.
The county will play a mixture of T20, 50 over and two-day red ball cricket against an United Arab Emirates X1, Derbyshire and Middlesex.
The players will fly out from Heathrow during the early hours of March 4 and undergo warm weather training on March 5 and 6 before their first match – a T20 encounter against the UAE X1 at the Zayed Nursery ground on March 7.
After another day of training and preparation work on March 8, Worcestershire will face Derbyshire in a 50 over game in the main Zayed Stadium on March 9.
Following a break from training and action on March 10, the players will conclude the tour with three successive days of cricket.
Worcestershire will play a two day red ball game against Derbyshire on March 11 and 12 on the Zayed Nursery ground and wrap up the tour the following day with a 50 over contest against Middlesex at the same venue.
The squad will fly back to Heathrow on March 14 and then begin their preparations for the programme of warm-up games in this country before the opening LV County Championship match against Yorkshire at New Road on April 12.
Worcestershire enjoyed a successful pre-season trip to Abu Dhabi last March when they played a series of matches in all formats against Holland, Ireland, Derbyshire and New Zealand.
