Worcestershire have strengthened their grip on second spot in Division Two of the Specsavers County Championship despite the frustration of the rain-wrecked draw with Durham when in a strong position.
The County have increased their advantage over nearest rivals Kent to 13 points with six games remaining.
Worcestershire collected 12 points from their trip to the Emirates although no play was possible on the final two and a half days.
Kent hung on for a draw versus Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge and picked up eight points as the elements worked in their favour.
Worcestershire have the second highest number of batting bonus points with 27 out of a possible 40.
They have collected 22 points out of a possible maximum haul of 24 with the ball.
Worcestershire are next in Championship action on Sunday, July 9 when they take on local rivals Gloucestershire at the Cheltenham Festival.
