Worcestershire are still occupying second spot in Division Two of the Specsavers County Championship after not featuring in the round of matches which ended on Thursday.
The County will go into tomorrow's clash with Gloucestershire as part of the Cheltenham Festival two points ahead of Kent who have played a game more.
It will be their final Championship game before they switch their focus entirely on T20 Blast cricket for a month.
Worcestershire will play nine successive matches in the short format of the game before the home Championship match with Sussex beginning on August 6.
Kent and Northamptonshire fought out a high-scoring draw at Beckenham in the battle of the third and fourth placed teams.
Worcestershire are 26 points behind leaders Nottinghamshire although they have a game in hand.
After the Cheltenham fixture, four of their remaining five Championship matches will take place at New Road.
