Worcestershire fly out from Heathrow later today for their sixth successive pre-season training camp in Abu Dhabi.
The County will be taking part in a trio of 50 over matches against Somerset, Essex and local rivals Warwickshire.
They will form part of their preparations for the Royal London One-Day Cup in which they have reached the semi-finals for the past two seasons.
The final has always been staged at Lord’s but that will alter after this summer in which the Royal London One-Day Cup kicks off significantly earlier in mid April.
Worcestershire will also do battle with Essex in a two day game in the UAE.
It will form part of eight days red ball cricket ahead of the opening Specsavers County Championship match against Leicestershire at the Fischer County Ground starting on April 11.
A three-day friendly against Warwickshire at Edgbaston and a non first class three-dayer versus Cambridge University at Fenners will also form part of the build-up.
In addition to the competitive action, Worcestershire will have five days of warm weather training before returning to the United Kingdom on March 20.
The squad is minus paceman George Scrimshaw who has a sore back.
