Worcestershire Rapids 2020 Vitality Blast signing, Ashton Turner, is gearing up for the start of the Big Bash League with Perth Scorchers.
The latest edition of the BBL gets underway next week.
Turner will have Chris Jordan (Sussex) and Liam Livingstone (Lancashire) amongst his team-mates for the seven-and-a-half week competition.
The 26-year-old is available to play for the Rapids throughout next summer’s Blast.
But before then he will be looking to help the Scorchers get off to a winning start in the BBL.
They will visit Sydney Sixers next Wednesday and launch their home programme on December 21 against Melbourne Renegades.
Turner will be striving to repeat his BBL form of 2018-2019 when he was the Scorchers leading scorer with 378 runs and hit three half centuries.
