George Rhodes is chasing more trophy glory with Onslow CC in New Zealand in the CricHQ T20 Cup.
The Worcestershire all-rounder has already helped Onslow to win the Ewen Chatfield Trophy 50 over competition.
Now they are through to the quarter-finals of the T20 tournament after a hat-trick of victories.
Rhodes made early breakthroughs with the ball and then shared in a match-winning century partnership in Onslow’s latest victory over Wellington Collegiates.
He dismissed opener Luke Vincent (4) and number three Sushant Balajee (4) as Wellington were restricted to 126-8.
Onslow were reduced to 11-2 in reply but then Rhodes played the supporting role in an unbroken stand of 116 in 12 overs with keeper Ben Shields.
He finished 26 not out while Shields raced to an unbeaten 85 as Onslow reached their target in 15.5 overs.
Onslow will now face Patone-Eastbourne in the quarter-finals.
Rhodes’ team have not fared so well in the two-day Pearce Cup competition and went down by an innings and 84 runs to Eastern Suburbs.
He finished with 12-1-39-2 as Eastern Suburbs declared on 30-9-6 – a first innings lead of 208.
Onslow, who had been dismissed for 101, fared little better in their second innings and were dismissed for 114 with Rhodes second top-scorer with 20 off 52 balls.
