Worcestershire are spending the opening two days of their pre-season trip to Abu Dhabi undergoing warm weather training before tasting their first match action of 2015 tomorrow (Saturday).
Skipper Daryl Mitchell and his players will take on a United Arab Emirates X1 at the Zayed Nursery ground.
After another day of training and preparation work on March 8, Worcestershire will face Derbyshire in a 50 over game in the main Zayed Stadium on March 9.
The county also did battle with Derbyshire during last March's first trip to Abu Dhabi.
Following a break from training and action on March 10, the players will conclude the tour with three successive days of cricket.
Worcestershire will play a two day red ball game against Derbyshire on March 11 and 12 on the Zayed Nursery ground.
They will wrap up the tour the following day with a 50 over contest against Middlesex at the same venue.
The squad will fly back to Heathrow on March 14 and then begin their preparations for the programme of warm-up games in this country before the opening LV County Championship match against Yorkshire at New Road on April 12.
Worcestershire will face Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Oxford MCCU and Northamptonshire before the action starts for real against the Division One champions.
New Road will host the opening warm-up fixture against Gloucestershire on March 25, 26 and 27.
The County’s other three pre-season games are all away fixtures.
Worcestershire will take on local rivals Warwickshire at Edgbaston in a two-day game on March 30 and 31.
Then, on April 2, 3 and 4, Oxford MCCU will provide the opposition in what is classified as a first class fixture at The Parks.
The final pre-season encounter will be a two-day fixture with Northamptonshire at Northampton on April 7-8.
