Worcestershire's players were put through their paces by the coaching staff on their first full day of practice during the pre-season tour of Abu Dhabi.
The 16 man squad took part in an agility session, practice out in the middle and then a tough fielding session.
It is all part of the build-up to the County's first taste of cricket since the end of September – a match against Essex on Tuesday.
They will meet their County Championship Division Two rivals in a T20 match at the Zayed Nursery Ground on March 8.
Then on the following day skipper Daryl Mitchell's side will face Essex in a 50 over contest at the same venue.
But before that double header Worcestershire face another challenging day of practice in warm weather conditions tomorrow.
Worcestershire have their full compliment of coaching staff in the UAE via Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes, assistant coach-bowling coach Matt Mason, second eleven-batting coach Kevin Sharp and academy coach Elliot Wilson.
Expert backroom team members, stengthening and conditioning coach Ross Dewar and first team physio Ben Davies, are also part of the party.
