Worcestershire Rapids Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes has named a 13 strong squad for the Royal London One-Day Cup quarter-final clash with Somerset at Taunton today (Wednesday).
Moeen Ali is added to the squad after being given permission to play by the England and Wales Cricket Board.
He has linked up with his County team-mates after a successful international summer with the bat and also picking up several important wickets of big name players.
Worcestershire will be looking to take another step towards a Lord's final by beating Somerset after edging into fourth spot in the North Group.
Rhodes said: "It was nice to sneak in the back four of the quarter-finals. We had two very good victories in the last two games with Lancashire and Nottnghamshire which will give us confidence in that competition.
"Somerset in their own backyard, let's make no mistake, they are a powerful and strong outfit and they know how to play cricket at Taunton and it will be an extremely tough game.
"But this team thrives on being an underdog and we will be trying to upset the favourites and we've got nothing to lose and they have got everything to lose. It will be a marvellous occasion for us to go and show our skills.
"The dressing room has got some fantastic skills in white and red ball and, if it's our day, we will be difficult to beat as well."
