Worcestershire are lying in fifth spot after the latest round of matches in Division Two of the Specsavers County Championship.
Despite having six days completely washed out, the County are only 26 points behind leaders Essex and eight adrift of second placed Kent.
Worcestershire collected another 13 points from the drawn home clash with Sussex today – five for batting, three for bowling and five for sharing the spoils.
Worcestershire have a maximum haul of 20 batting points from their four matches where there has been any play since the weather hit opening clash with Kent.
They have also collected nine bowling points including full hauls from two of the three games where opponents have completed a full innings.
Worcestershire are next in Championship action on Sunday when they take on Leicestershire at Grace Road.
