Worcestershire CCC are sad to report the death of paceman Mitchell McClenaghan's father, Dennis, who passed away last night.
McClenaghan will fly home to New Zealand at the conclusion of the current LV= County Championship Division Two clash with Surrey at New Road.
The 28-year-old will curtail his spell with the County and will not be available for the final Championship match of the campaign with Essex at Chelmsford starting on September 23.
Worcestershire's thoughts are with Mitchell and his family and they send their condolences.
McClenaghan replaced Pakistan spinner Saeed Ajmal as Worcestershire's overseas player in mid July.
He finished as their leading wicket-taker in the Royal London One-Day Cup and has also made four Championship appearances.
