COUNTY BATSMAN FELL HITS THIRD CENTURY OF CAMPAIGN FOR WOLVERHAMPTON

Worcestershire CCC batsman Tom Fell hit another century for Wolverhampton but ended up on the losing side in the Birmingham Premier League encounter with Bridgnorth.

Fell struck 111 off 99 balls with three sixes and 10 fours as Wolverhampton pursued a 252 target.

He added 71 for the fourth wicket with Jack Stanley (29) and 51 for the sixth wicket with Will Nield (10).

Fell was finally seventh out hit wicket with the total on 211 and Wolverhampton were bowled out for 232 in 46.5 overs.

It was Fell’s third Birmingham Premier League century of the summer.

He had also reached three figures in scoring 100 versus Ombersley and 148 against Leamington.

Fell has totalled 488 runs at an average of 48.80.
