worcestershire first team coach alex gidman has announced a 13 strong squad for the specsavers county championship match with gloucestershire at New Road beginning tomorrow.
gidman has named the 11 players in action during the impressive three-day home win over glamorgan minus england all-rounder moeen ali who is nursing a couple of niggles.
in addition, paceman dillon pennington, all-rounder ross whiteley and batsman josh dell have been included in the squad for the final home game of the 2019 campaign.
brett d’oliveira and wayne parnell are not included after injury and illness respectively but remain on course to be available for vitality blast finals day on saturday.
meanwhile, gidman confirmed martin guptill will not be available for blast finals day because of a side strain suffered when on new zealand duty in the t20i series in sri lanka.
