George Rhodes played a key role with the ball as Barnards Green defeated Kidderminster by 32 runs in a Birmingham League Division One encounter.
The Worcestershire all-rounder ensured his side recovered from being bowled out for 148.
Rhodes, who had been dismissed for five, came on second change and ripped through the middle order as Kidderminster collapsed from 46-1 to 80-9 before being bowled out for 116.
He finished with figures of 10-2-20-4.
England Under-19 paceman Adam Finch showed his prowess with the bat to steer Himley to a thrilling one wicket win over Brockhampton.
Academy product Finch bowled 10 overs for 35 overs as Brockhampton were dismissed for 171.
Finch came to the wicket with Himley struggling at 59-6 in reply and added 64 with Jamie Turner.
Brockhampton were still hot favourites when the ninth wicket fell at 134-9 but Finch, who ended unbeaten on 37 from 92 balls, and last man Jack Whittaker saw Himley home.
Another current Academy player in Mitchell Stanley scored 24 not out of Shifnal’s 190 and then dismissed last man Matthew Davison in bowling six overs for 24 as Leamington were bowled out for 172.
In the Premier Division, Zen Malik made 97 off 108 balls with three sixes and nine fours as Wolverhampton gained a two wicket win over Kenilworth Wardens.
Malik came in at number three and was fifth out at 172 as Wolves chased down a 239 target with 10 balls to spare. He had earlier picked up one wicket for 41 off seven overs.
Joe Dodd, who kept wicket for the Seconds last week, struck an unbeaten 58 off 76 balls for Dorridge in a 104 run win over Ombersley who were ousted for 118.
Zain Ul-Hassan (9-0-38-1) was part of the Barnt Green side beaten by 77 runs against Knowle and Dorridge who had amassed 289-7.
Dillon Pennington had figures of 10-1-32-1 for Shrewsbury as they defended a total of 167-9 and defeated Berkswell by 15 runs.
