Ed Barnard scored a century to help Scarborough to a six wicket victory in a Western Australia Cricket Association first grade match against Willetton.
The Worcestershire all-rounder came to the crease at 48-2 and another wicket went down at the same total as Scarborough faced a daunting target of 288 in 50 overs.
But Barnard and Liam Knight both scored centuries and shared in a match winning stand of 218 as Scarborough secured victory with an over to spare.
The England Lions player made 103 off 108 balls with eight boundaries.
Earlier, Barnard had bowled for the first time this winter, taking the new ball and dismissing number three Aaron Hughes (25).
He finished with figures of 10-0-64-1 as Willetton closed on 287-9 with opener James Godfrey (129) and Warwickshire all-rounder Will Rhodes (82) putting on 238 for the second wicket.
Ben Twohig made his debut for Southern Districts who were edged out by four runs in a South Australia Cricket Association West End Twenty20 Cup match with West Torrens.
The County slow left armer shared the new ball and ended with figures of 3-0-25-1 as West Torrens were restricted to 128-9.
Southern Districts also found runs hard to come by and needed 13 off the last over.
Twohig collected a boundary off the second ball but was dismissed for eight off the penultimate delivery of the game as his side ended on 124-6.
Ollie Westbury’s side, Grafton United, tied their Auckland Cricket Premier Men’s T20 competition match with Ellerslie.
Opener Westbury, the leading run-scorer in the competition, made eight off four balls as Grafton totalled 143-6.
Ellerslie then lost a wicket to the final ball of the game and closed on 143-4 as the spoils were shared.
