  1. The Promoter
    • The promoter is Worcestershire County Cricket Trading Ltd whose registered office is Worcestershire County Cricket Club,
Worcestershire County Cricket Club, 
Worcester, WR2 4QQ (“The Promoter”)
  2. The Competition
    • The title of the competition is Paisley Valentines giveaway (“the Competition”)
    • By entering the Competition, Entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
    • By entering the Competition, Entrants provide consent for the Promoter and/or its agents to announce their name (for publicity purposes) via the Promoter’s social media channels.
    • Entrants agree by entering the Competition that the Promoter will have full rights to the use, publication and sharing of their names and images, including all Entries and Answers, in the Promoter’s publicity material and on its media platforms.
  3. How to Enter
    • The competition will run from 9:00am on Tuesday 3rd February 2025 the (“Opening Date“) to 9am Tuesday 10th 2025 the (“Closing Date“) inclusive..
    • All entries received after the Closing Date will be automatically disqualified from the Competition.
    • The competition is a free draw, no purchase is necessary and there is no charge for entry into the Competition.
    • Entrants must sign up to the Worcestershire CCC email newsletter via the website between the dates advised above to be entered into the prize draw.

      3.5. The Promoter will not accept:

  1. responsibility for the Competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind/
  1. Eligible Participants
    • The competition is only open to all residents in the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over within a reasonable driving distance of Paisley at no.106, with the exception of:
    • Employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
    • Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration;
    • Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
      • In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. You also confirm that the Entry/Answer is your own and that you permit the Promoter to use, share and publish such without limitation. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.
      • The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Competition.
  2. The Prize
    • There is one prize of a a meal worth a total of £125 for two people to be used at Paisley at no.106 at 7pm Saturday 14thFebruary 2026.
  • The prize does not include any transportation costs to or from the venue and any spend over the £125 must be covered by the prize winners and any underspend will not be credited back to the winner.
  • In the event of the Prizes being unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide a voucher or alternative Prize of equal or greater value.
  • The allocation of the Prizes to the selected Winner shall be at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
  • There are no cash or other Prize alternatives.
  1. Entries
    • Any Entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be deemed to be an invalid Entry by the Promoter and will not be entered into the Competition.
    • The Promoter reserves the right and has complete discretion to delete and / or disqualify any Entry that is deemed unsuitable, inappropriate, explicit or offensive.
  2. Winner Announcement
    • The Winner of the Competition will be chosen at random by the Promoter from all eligible entries. The Promoter will place all qualifying Entrants’ names, with the correct Answer, into an automated name selector which will draw out an Entrants name. The chosen Entrant will be deemed the Winner for that week and receive one out of the total four Prizes.
    • The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
    • One Winner will be announced on the Promoter’s Social Media pages on the following dates: 10 February 2025 (“the Announcements”).
    • The Promoter will contact the Winners personally via email as soon as practicable prior to the Announcement.
  3. Claiming the prize
    • The Winners will be notified via email that they have won the Prizes. They will be contacted by the Promoter and asked to supply their mobile number for the booking.
    • The Winners will have 12 hours from the relevant Announcements to claim their Prize by supplying a contact telephone number to the Promoter.
    • The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Winner. If the Winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 12 hours of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the qualifying entries that were received before the Closing Date.
    • The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prize.
    • The Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged or claimed by a third party on the Winner’s behalf.
  4. Limitation of liability
    • Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. The Prize is accepted at the Winner’s risk. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  5. General
    • At all times throughout the Competition, participants must deal with the Promoter in the utmost good faith in every respect. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and disqualify any participant that it has reasonable grounds to believe has breached any of the rules, including, but not limited to, falsifying any information submitted to or requested by the Promoter.
    • The Promoter reserves the right to carry out web-searches and checks of an Entrants’ Social Media profile(s) to ascertain whether there has been any negative communication from them either to or about the Promoter in the past. If this is found to be the case, their Entry may be disqualified from the Competition at the Promoter’s sole discretion. Entrants accept that the Promoter’s Decision will be final and that there will be no right to challenge or appeal any decision of the Promoter in this regard.
    • The Promoter reserves the right to amend or terminate the Competition at any time without notice. However, the Promoter will use its reasonable endeavours to minimise the effect of such amendment or termination to avoid disappointment. Any termination of or amendment to the Competition will be notified via the Promoter’s social media channels.
    • This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
    • The Competition will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Competition.
  6. Intellectual Property
    • The Answer in your Entry must be your own original wording in order to qualify as an Entry.
    • By entering the Competition, you provide the Promoter with an irrevocable licence to freely use, share and publish your Entry including sharing your Entry on its social media platforms even if you are not the Winner of the Competition.
  7. Data Protection and Publicity
    • Any personal data relating to and supplied by the Winners or any other Entrant will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. The Winner’s personal information will not be disclosed to any third party by the Promoter, except in accordance with these Terms and to any agency running the Promoter’s social media, without the Entrant’s prior consent.
