Xavie Clarke top-scored for Worcestershire Under-17s who went down by eight wickets to their Gloucestershire counterparts in the final ECB Royal London Cup match at RGS Worcester.
Clarke made 72 off 104 balls with 10 boundaries as Worcestershire totalled 226 all out in 47.3 overs after electing to bat.
Opener Jack Haynes struck 31 before he was second out at 51 and then Clarke and Zain Ul Hassan added 86 for the third wicket.
Ul-Hassan (32) was dismissed at 137-3 and Clarke followed 32 runs later.
But a quickfire 46 from 32 deliveries with three sixes and five fours by Robbie Hardwick boosted the final total.
When Gloucestershire replied, Milo Ayres scored 53 of an opening stand of 58 with Ollie Price before he was dismissed by Charlie Greening.
Henry Marshall bowled an economical spell, conceding only 37 runs in 9.5 overs, and picking up one of the other wicket to fall.
Gloucestershire reached 227-2 in 40.2 overs with Ollie Price (80 not out) and Ben Charlesworth (85) putting on 158 for the second wicket.
