Worcestershire wicket-keeper Joe Clarke completed his century and then spinner Shaaiq Choudhry was amongst the wickets on the second day of the second eleven friendly encounter with Somerset at Taunton.
England Under-19 player Clarke resumed on 86 out of 247-8 when play finally got underway after rain washed out the morning session.
He finished unbeaten on 109 from 182 balls and hit 15 fours before the declaration at 300-9 after 53 runs had been added n 15 overs.
Graeme Cessford (18) helped Clarke added 45 runs for the ninth wicket and then struck with the ball to trap Alex Barrow lbw for six.
Worcestershire skipper Joe Leach accounted for the other Somerset opener Tom Abell (20) as the home side reached 105-2 by tea.
Choudhry, part of the side which overcame Kent in the LV County Championship at New Road last week, and fellow spinner Brett D'Oliveira enjoyed success in the final session.
Choudhry's victims included Max Waller and Kilbee, who shared a fourth wicket stand of 54, for 64 and 37 respectively, and he finished with 3-89 and D'Oliveira 2-52 before Somerset declared at 288-7 from 67 overs.
Tom Kohler Cadmore followed up his first innings half century with an unbeaten 30 off 38 balls with three fours and a six as Worcestershire reached 51-1 off 13 overs by the 7.40pm close – a lead of 63.
