Ben Clarke and captain Joe Stanley shone with the ball as Worcestershire CCC Sub Academy overcame a Warwickshire CCC Development XI by 45 runs in a two-day red ball encounter at the Edgbaston Foundation Ground.
Warwickshire looked well placed at 120-2 in pursuit of a 276 target after Haaris Azram (65) and Isaac Mohammed (33) added 79 for the third wicket.
But then Clarke picked up the key wicket of Azram before Stanley claimed three middle order wickets to leave the game in the balance.
Clarke returned to made a decisive impact with three wickets in the space of eight balls as Warwickshire, who were 226-6 at one stage, were bowled out for 230 in 83.3 overs.
Clarke ended with figures of 16.3-6-34-4 and Stanley 25-8-62-3.
Cameron Jones (6-1-20-1) and Reeve Evitts (14-5-34-1) had removed the openers and there was also a late wicket for Tom Parker (10-4-21-1).
Evitts had top-scored with 94 on day one and Stanley was unbeaten on 56 after Worcestershire, who had resumed on 259-7, were bowled out for 275 in 101.2 overs.
