worcestershire ccc paceman charlie morris was amongst the winners when worcestershire supporters’ association staged their first fifty fifty draw of the season.
county skipper joe leach drew out the lucky winners ranging in prizes from £50 to £500 including charlie (£100) who was a winner in the competition for a second time.
worcestershire players and staff are again participating in the fifty-fifty draw in which all profits, as always, go towards the ground improvement fund.
a total of 676 members participated in the draw staged during the worcestershire-lancashire game at New Road.
the winner of the top prize of £500 was mr jon fraser of worcester.
but prize winners came from all over – and outside – of the region in a competition again being organised by association committee member dave kennedy.
the other three draws will take place on sunday july 29, sunday august 26 and sunday september 23.
it costs £20 to enter – the same fee as in 2017 – and application forms can be obtained from dave kennedy c-o the county ground, New Road, worcester, wr2 4qq or downloaded via the worcestershire ccc website.
anyone wanting to enter the competition should make cheques payable to the worcestershire county cricket supporters’ association (wccsa).
