worcestershire ceo matt rawnsley is to again stage his members forums on a regular basis during the 2019 season at New Road.
forums were staged on the opening day of the specsavers county championship matches at the county’s headquarters last summer.
they took place before the start of play in the graeme hick pavilion from 9.30am onwards.
members had the opportunity to ask questions of mr rawnsley and were full of praise for his openness and honesty in his replies.
they were kept abreast of the latest news in a winter forum held by mr rawnsley which was also attended by club chairman fanos hira, skipper joe leach and head of sports science and medicine, ben davies.
it is mr rawnsley’s intention to repeat the 2018 formula this summer.
the first members forum of the 2019 campaign will be held on may 14 – the first day of the game with durham at New Road.
mr rawnsley said: “i introduced the forums last summer with the intention of giving members the opportunity to ask anything they wanted on any subject.
“we had a wide and varied response and i tried to be as open as possible with my answers.
“i will not always agree with what members say but i think it is important to be transparent and we intend to repeat the forums in 2019.”
