A thanksgiving service will be held at Worcester Cathedral to mark Worcestershire County Cricket Club’s 150th Anniversary Year.
This specially arranged Evensong service will take place at the Cathedral at 4pm on Sunday 27th September.
Worcestershire players and officials will be attending the service.
The former Secretary of the Club, the Rev’d Michael Vockins, together with Bishop Christopher Mayfield will contribute to the Service and other representatives of the Club will also take part.
A collection will be taken which will be divided between the Cathedral and the Jean Price Bursary which helps support junior cricket in the County.
After the Service, a reception will be held in the Hick Pavilion.
All members, supporters and guests are cordially invited to attend the Service and to join others at the reception which will follow at New Road.
