Buy Your Rapids Semi-Final Ticket Now To Avoid Disappointment

There are just 12 days to go to Worcestershire Rapids mouth-watering Royal London One-Day Cup semi-final at New Road.

And the message from the club today is BUY YOUR TICKET NOW TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT!

Supporters have eagerly been snapping up tickets for the June 17 clash with either Yorkshire Vikings or Surrey after the Rapids produced a superb effort to top the North Group and secure a home semi-final.

With the team having also won their opening four games in the Specsavers County Championship, there is a definite feelgood factor amongst fans and excitement is mounting.

At stake is the possibility of Worcestershire's first Lord's final appearance since they lost consecutive finals in 2003 and 2004 – both to the then one-day kings Gloucestershire.

Managing Director Jon Graham said: "Everything is going really well. I think there are 13 years of demand (since 2004) that we are seeing which is great.

"It is a massive, massive game – not just for the club but the county and the sales are reflected in that.

"It has got that feeling, albeit a little bit more intense, like when we play Birmingham Bears in the T20 and that always sells out pretty quickly.

"Tickets are going very, very quickly and, as we say for the Birmingham Bears game, the advice is buy now because, once they are gone, they're gone.

"When the play-off (between Yorkshire had Surrey) has taken place, there is going to be another surge.

"The advice is BUY NOW. It is the biggest game the club has had, certainly in that competition, for many, many years."

Graham added: "The buzz around the place is amazing. The lads have had the best start to a season for many years and it's great.

"The tickets are going to go. The semi-final is on a Saturday and hopefully people can get a 'pass' to come for the day and hopefully see something really special.

"It feels like we've got a special team and occasions like a semi-final don't come around all that often."

The ticket prices are:

Junior/Junior Members £10

Adult Members £25

Adults £30

The McMinn Marquee Package £60

The View VIP Package – On the top floor the View £90
