Josh Baker and Henry Cullen impressed with the ball and bat respectively to help Kenilworth Wardens secure a winning draw in the rain-hit Birmingham and District Premier League encounter with champions Smethwick.
Baker finished with 6-66, dismissing Worcestershire team-mate Kashif Ali for nought, as Smethwick totalled 172-8 in 29 overs.
Cullen followed up his fine knock of 72 for Worcestershire Seconds against Lancashire Seconds by smashing 80 off only 52 balls.
The keeper-batter hit three sixes and 10 fours.
He shared in stands of 89 with fellow opener Jamie Harrison (44) and 63 for the second with Oliver Dandy (28 not out).
Kenilworth Wardens reached 168-4 from 21 overs and collected 15 points to their opponents eight.
Mitchell Stanley was also amongst the wickets for Shifnal in their five-wicket win over Bromsgrove.
Stanley had figures of 11-2-26-6 as Bromsgrove were bowled out for 84.
Olly Cox, who had made 90 for Worcestershire Seconds against Lancashire, hit a quickfire 44 for Barnt Green in their winning draw against Wolverhampton.
His 41-ball knock contained one six and four fours and he added 121 for the third wicket with Jacques Banton (139 not out).
Barnt Green totalled 256-3 in 40 overs and Wolverhampton were restricted to 72-3 from 20 overs in reply.
Ollie Walker (31) helped Himley (140-9) escape with a losing draw against Bridgnorth (190 all out).
