New Worcestershire signing, Ethan Brookes, struck a century for Knowle and Dorridge in their five wicket win over Barnards Green in a Birmingham and District Premier League encounter.
Brookes, who has signed a two-year contract which gets underway in October, was unbeaten on 112 not out as Knowle and Dorridge chased down a 214 target.
He hit seven sixes and 10 fours and rescued his side after Academy player Ben Clarke had removed the openers cheaply.
Brookes put on 85 for the third wicket with James Middleton (24) and 93 for the fifth with wicket with Oliver Currill (36).
Clarke finished with figures of 10-0-38-3 but Knowle and Dorridge triumphed with 7.1 overs to spare.
Ollie Walker made 45 for Himley who were involved in a tie with Coventry and North Warwickshire.
Walker and Connor Smith (111) looked to be steering Himley to victory after a stand of 112 for the third wicket.
Himley reached 2002-2 in pursuit of a Coventry and North Warwickshire’s 241-8 but had to be content with a share of the spoils after closing on 241-5.
Walker hit two sixes and one four in his 69 ball knock.
Ed Pollock (25) and Olly Cox (20) made useful runs for Barnt Green (239 all out) in their 113 run success over Kenilworth Wardens (126 all out).
Taylor Cornall had figures of 2-45 off 10 overs but his side Ombersley (108 all out) lost by 84 runs to Moseley.
