Worcestershire’s Henry Cullen and Olly Cox were amongst the runs in the latest round of matches in the Birmingham and District Premier League.
Keeper-batter Cullen made 77 of 90 balls for Barnt Green in their seven wicket success over Barnards Green.
He hit 13 boundaries and shared in stands of 79 for the first wicket with Ben Chapman-Lilley (37) and 62 for the third with Amrinder Brar (44 not out).
Cullen was third out at 167 as Barnt Green reached their target of 182 in just 33.3 overs.
He had earlier also taken a catch and a stumping as Barnards Green were bowled out for 181 in 54.2 overs.
Cox, named in the squad for the Vitality Blast match against Northamptonshire on Friday, also impressed in the opener’s role for Ombersley against Himley.
He made 84 off 129 balls with two sixes and eight fours as Ombersley chased Himley’s 227-7 off 55 overs in which former Worcestershire player Oliver Westbury hit a century.
But Cox had little support, was seventh out at 186, and his side were dismissed for 198 in 54.2 overs to lose by 29 runs.
Worcestershire Assistant Head Coach, Kadeer Ali, had a rare outing for Smethwick, scoring 41 and returning 11-7-8-2 with his off spin against West Bromwich Dartmouth.
Kadeer put on 74 for the first wicket with Isaac Mohammed and laid the foundations for a total of 323-4 before he was second out at 118.
He then was virtually impossible to score off but Dartmouth held on for a losing draw at 151-7.
In Premier Division Two, Harry Darley picked up three wickets for Shrewsbury (223-7), including Will Rhodes on 88, as they defeated Worfield (222-9) by three wickets.
