It may only be August but there are already substantial bookings for Worcestershire CCC's traditional Christmas Parties.
The popular Friday and Saturday evenings in December have been snapped up by party-goers after the success of last winter's parties when numbers rocketed compared to 2013.
But there are plenty of other nights available from November through to early January in the Graeme Hick Pavilion and The View.
Worcestershire Commercial Director Jon Graham said: "Since The View has been opened, we've seen the numbers just grow and grow.We are now in August and the Friday and Saturday nights in the Graeme Hick Pavilion have gone already in December.
"We've still got capacity in the The View and we've got mid-week dates available in December in the Graeme Hick Pavilion. If anyone wanted to an early party, or one in January, then we'd look to do that.
"But the message is if you want to hold your Christmas party here book as soon as possible, and it's down to Steve Gibbs (Director of Catering) and his team that we've built up a proposition, an evening and event that everyone loves and keeps coming back for more."
Graham added: "Last year, the numbers were massive. In one night, we were serving over 800 on one night across all venues.
"It is a bit like the Birmingham Bears game in the T20 in the sense of 'get your tickets early because we will sell out' and the Christmas parties will be exactly the same."
