Everyone has their own special memories of New Road since it became home to Worcestershire CCC at the start of the 20th century.
Now supporters have the chance to read about and view pictures of our famous ground via a new book by Richard Bentley entitled "A celebration of New Road Worcester – a special place."
The book is a nostalgic collection of over 50 illustrated extracts from a range of cricket books, all sharing memories of the historic New Road ground.
It would make an ideal Easter present in the club's 150th Anniversary Year and has been complied by WCCC member and collector Richard Bentley for the Heritage Group and Supporters' Association.
It is priced £9 and is available from the Supporters' Association Shop and WCCC Club Shop.
The book can also be purchased by post (price £11) with cheques payable to Worcestershire CCC from Richard at 'Hamilton', Bredon Close, Inkberrow, WR7 4HQ, Worcestershire or Heitage Group chairman Tim Jones at 8 Edge Hill Drive, Perton, Wolverhampton, WV6 7SW.
A reminder that the Worcestershire Heritage Group memorabilia day is being staged on May 24 in the New Road marquee starting at 11 am.
There are a limited number of tables still available for anyone wishing to reserve one for £15 with proceeds going to the Heritage Group.
Posters will be around the ground or contact Mike Niccolls on 01905 29197.
