Ed Barnard will make his first appearance of Worcestershire’s pre-season trip to Abu Dhabi in tomorrow’s 50 over game with local rivals Warwickshire.
The all-rounder had a season to remember in 2018 and picked up four awards at Worcestershire’s end of season Awards Night.
Barnard has just rejoined his County team-mates after a successful winter in Australia playing grade cricket for Scarborough.
New signing Riki Wessels will again open the innings after making a quickfire 22 in the win over Essex on Wednesday.
Tom Fell, Brett D’Oliveira, Ross Whiteley, Ben Cox and Pat Brown will also get more valuable game time under their belts after featuring in the opening game versus Somerset.
Worcestershire will complete the white ball cricket leg of their tour against the Bears.
They will then revert next week into red ball mode for a two-day encounter against 2017 County Champions Essex.
