Ed Barnard helped Queanbeyan District to claim first innings points and a winning draw against Western District UDC in a Australian Capital Territory first grade match.
Worcestershire all-rounder Barnard had picked up three wickets after taking the new ball on the opening day and finished with 3-58 as Western District were dismissed for 248.
The England Under-19 player then contributed a joint top score of 31 on the second day as Queanbeyan District sailed past their opponents score and ended play on 317-8.
Barnard, who faced 71 balls and hit four fours, came in at number five and added 58 for the fourth wicket with opener H. Hunt who scored a fine 148.
County wicket-keeper Ben Cox helped Greenvale Kangaroos escape with a losing draw against Essendon on the second day of a Victorian Premier Cricket Bartercard Men's Premier Firsts encounter.
Cox had taken four catches on the opening day and Worcestershire colleague Jack Shantry two wickets for 57 as Essendon were dismissed for 280 after winning the toss.
Greenvale were dismissed for 137 in their first innings with Cox run out for six and Shantry making 12.
In their second innings they were in deep trouble at 7-3 but Cox made 34 and helped to steady the innings before being dismissed shortly before the close.
Shantry was nine not out as Greenvale ended the game on 62-4.
Joe Clarke's side South Perth were put to the sword on the opening day of their Western Australian Cricket Association first grade clash with Willetton.
South Perth put home side Willetton into bat and they ended the opening day on 339-5 from 90 overs. The match will resume and be concluded this Saturday.
