Worcestershire all-rounder Ed Barnard is top of the bowling averages for Queanbeyan District in Australian Capital Territory first grade cricket.
Barnard has taken 22 wickets in the ACT at an average of 20.05 runs apiece and a strike rate of a wicket every 33.64 deliveries.
His best figures were registered last weekend when he took the new ball and finished with figures of 4-40 against Ginninderra.
The England Under-19 player, who is looking forward to his first full season as a professional at New Road, has overall figures of 123.2-21-441-22.
In all competitions Barnard has a tally of 30 wickets with a winter's best of 4-24 against Weston Creek Molonglo in the SCG Country Cup.
He has also made useful contributions with the bat and lies fifth in the Queanbeyan averages with 286 runs at an average of 28.60.
Barnard scored 105 against Joe Leach's side, North Canberra Gungahlin before Christmas.
He also scored 72 off the Tuggerangong Valley attack and 51 against Weston Creek Molonglo.
